So far, the garden's first full, functioning year has been immensely successful.  At this point, the garden has produced over 800 lbs of fresh produce since June 2011.  The garden will continued to run throughout the winter, both inside the greenhouse (where we planted seeds in preparation for the new year) and in the beds outside under plastic covering (where we grew garlic, snow peas, and lettuce).  Already this year we have started to harvest lettuce, we have had a successful plant sale, and our tomato, eggplant, pepper, cucumber, and other plants have begun to grow in the greenhouse.  These soon will be ready for transplanting outside and will keep us busy over the summer!
