2020 WLCT Senior Interest Project
As part of our ongoing partnership with the Wilton Land Conservation Trust, WHS Organic Garden President Brett Gilman '20 and Sara Schneidman '20 have joined forces with the Land Trust for their Wilton High School Senior Interest Project. Their goal is to install 1,000 special Ecotype Project native wildflowers from CT NOFA on WLCT properties by the end of June 2020. These native wildflowers will strengthen Wilton's floral biodiversity in open spaces and provide essential resources to local wild pollinators. Pretty cool, huh?
Working alongside Brett and Sara are WLCT Executive Director Donna Merrill, WHS Organic Garden VIce President Eli Grass '21, and WLCT Volunteer Kimmy Castano '19.
